Rita Ora is returning to the screen in the upcoming fifth Descendants movie, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.

However, there was a time early in the process of the fourth film, that her Queen of Hearts role had two other pop stars in talks to star – Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera!

Rita‘s on-screen daughter, Kylie Cantrall, revealed in a recent interview that Katy and Christina were being considered before she was even cast.

“Rita Ora is my mom, which is sick,” Kylie shared on the Zach Sang Show. “She wasn’t attached to it yet at the time before, ’cause I was the first one casted.”

When she was reminded she previously revealed two other people were in consideration, she spilled on Katy and Christina‘s early involvement.

“They were in talks at the time when I first was going through the process. Yeah, kind of crazy,” she dished before gushing over Rita Ora.

“But no, Rita is incredible. I truly feel there’s no one that could have played Queen of Hearts. Like, it was made for her. She is that girl. She’s so sweet. Not as mean as the Queen of Hearts at all,” Kylie said. “She’s just so cool. She just is that diva in the best way.”
