Shakira is giving back to those affected by the deadly floods in Texas.

Over the holiday weekend, at least 70 people have died after flash floods took over Texas Hill Country. The flooding happened after the Guadalupe River broke its banks following a period of rapid and intense rain, according to Reuters.

Following the devastating flooding, the 48-year-old Colombian superstar announced that she donating a portion of the proceeds from her latest concert to the flooding victims and families.

Keep reading to find out more…“Dear San Antonio, Our hearts and prayers are with those affected by the flood in Central Texas,” Shakira wrote on X on Saturday, July 5. “We are donating a portion of tonight’s show proceeds to Catholic Charities of San Antonio, who are providing disaster relief to the families impacted.”

“If you would like to join me in donating, please click on the link below. Your help is important and appreciated,” the Grammy winner continued, while also adding the link to a donation platform set up by Catholic Charities.

Last month, Shakira spoke out against ICE and Donald Trump‘s immigration policies.
