Sarah Pidgeon has some words for critics of her character’s style in the upcoming series American Love Story.

Fans have gotten a small glimpse into her as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy as she has been spotted on set in New York City on a couple of occasions so far.

Following the first sets of photos from filming, her character’s style has come under scrutiny, and Sarah shared her reaction to what people are saying.

While speaking with E! News, Sarah encouraged people to just wait and see the final product of her playing Carolyn, who was a fashion icon in the 1990s for her minimalist style.

“I can’t wait for them to see it,” she told the outlet while promoting I Know What You Did Last Summer.

“We’re just getting started,” Sarah added about filming. “It’s been so exciting. I feel very honored to take on this role and learn about such an incredible woman who’s endured for close to 25 years now.”
