Noah Kahan set the crowd into a frenzy with a surprise appearance from Lewis Capaldi during his headlining set at BST Hyde Park. The beloved Scottish singer performed Hozier’s viral yell on a duet of ‘Northern Attitude’ after his triumphant return to the stage at Glastonbury.
It was an incredible moment at the London-based concert series that echoed across the globe.
Kahan played the biggest show of his music career in the United Kingdom on Friday. More than 65,000 people showed up to the sold-out performance at the 350-acre park in Westminster. The crowd stretched as far as the eye could see.
Although Kahan invited Gracie Abrams and Gigi Perez to join him on stage at different points in the set, it was Capaldi who received the biggest pop of the night by a large margin. Nobody expected him to be there. The 28-year-old emerged from the shadows during ‘Stick Season’ to a raucous ovation!
He came out in a matching Chelsea jersey to the delight of many supporters in attendance at BST Hyde Park.
Capaldi performed Hozier’s part of the duet, including the viral yell.

Lewis Capaldi returned to the stage last week for the first time in more than two years to finish what he started at Glastonbury. The emotional performance also served as his announcement of an upcoming tour— which is something he was not sure would ever be possible.
For Noah Kahan to tag Lewis Capaldi for Hozier’s part on ‘Northern Attitude’ one week after his return is pretty cool. For Capaldi to then let it rip on the yell is even cooler!
