PEOPLE exclusively shared a clip Shannon as a guest on A&E‘s new show Lie Detector: Truth or Deception. In the preview for the episode, Shannon maintains that she had no part in Gary‘s death.
During the clip, Shannon is asked if she ever struck Gary during their relationship, if she failed to help him after his fall, and whether she caused Gary to fall down the stairs.
The first two questions returned inconclusive responses. When Shannon answered the last question, the polygraph examiner said the test showed “deception indicated.”
The pair were divorced in 2008 after a year of marriage but continued to live together until Gary‘s death in 2010. Despite speculation from the public, Shannon was never charged with any crime in relation to Gary‘s death.
Lie Detector: Truth or Deception premieres July 10 at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
