Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey has had a casting shakeup that we just learned about!
Shogūn actor Cosmo Jarvis was originally announced as part of the star-studded cast for the film that also includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Mia Goth, and Corey Hawkins.
However, he had to drop out.

Deadline reports that he had a scheduling conflict with his biopic, Young Stalin. As a result, he had to exit the Nolan flick shortly before filming. So, who is his replacement?
Logan Marshall Green Is Replacing Him!
Prometheus star Logan Marshall Green stepped in and filmed the role. We don’t actually know who he’s playing in the film. In fact, most of the film’s roles are under wraps. We do know that Matt Damon is portraying Odysseus, the king of Ithaca.
There actually is a teaser trailer that is available to watch for the movie…but unfortunately, it won’t be streaming! Right now, the only place to watch the official version of the trailer is by seeing Jurassic World Rebirth in theaters.
The epic will hit theaters on July 17, 2026.
