Appeals court upholds block on Trump’s birthright citizenship order, setting up Supreme Court showdown

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declined an emergency Justice Department request to lift the hold a Seattle judge had placed blocking the implementation of President Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship.
