58-Year-Old Butterbean Wants To Fight Jake Paul ‘I Know I Can Take Him’

58-year-old Eric Esch, better known as Butterbean, wants a crack at Jake Paul. Throughout his boxing career, Paul has been criticized for fighting older fighters beyond their primes.

Fans and media members, including Piers Morgan have bashed Paul over his fight career.

“You say I’m a killer, I get in the ring with the best people, and you get in the ring with a 50-year-old, the guy is literally as nearly as old as me. The only proper boxer you fought was Tommy Fury, and he beat you.”

It appears that Butterbean was not impressed with Jake’s showing and is now calling for a fight against him.

“I want to fight Jake so bad. When I was in my wheelchair, Jake said some nasty stuff about me.”

“When I started getting healthy again, I’m going, you know what, I’m going to push myself until I’m able to knock him out, and guess what, I’m here.”

Bitterbean feels like he still hits harder than a lot of Jake’s recent opponents.

“I hit so much harder than these guys. That’s why it would be such a great fight. I’ll be honest, the Tyson fight thing I think was the biggest BS. Just because he’s an older guy doesn’t mean he couldn’t have knocked Jake out. I, myself, I would take it to him, he wouldn’t know what to think.

“It would be a good fight. I think it would be a competitive fight for me but I know I can take him and he thinks he can take me, so that’s what would make it a good fight, me knowing I can knock him out and him thinking he can knock me out.”
