Regen Seven Seas Prestige Skyview Suite

Affluent travelers are continuing to embrace the ultra-luxury cruise experience in a big way. Just ask the top brass at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which has reached a booking milestone with its new-build Seven Seas Prestige.

The first in a new class of ship for one of the world’s top luxury lines, the 822-guest Seven Seas Prestige recorded the biggest single booking day the cruise line has ever seen for a new ship. It happened on the day bookings opened, June 25, 2025.

Even more impressive, the ship’s ground-breaking new Skyview Regent suite, which costs an average of $25,000 per night, is already sold out on nearly half of the ship’s inaugural season. The massive and opulent suite is booked for six out of 13 voyages during the maiden season in winter of 2026.

The cruise line did not reveal the number of cruises sold, or the value of the bookings.

I’m absolutely thrilled, but not surprised, by the phenomenal results that Seven Seas Prestige has produced – we knew that luxury travelers were extremely eager to reserve their suite on this incredible ship, said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Seven Seas Prestige promises to begin a new legacy for the entire ultra-luxury cruise sector, and we cannot wait until she joins the fleet in December 2026,added Montague.

The ship is under construction at a Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and is the first of two ships ordered for the Prestige class. The second ship is slated to debut in 2029. The ship orders, representing the first new class of ship for the luxury line in a decade, were announced in 2024.

Along with the two new-builds for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings also ordered new ships for its other brands, Oceania Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line.

The robust booking day for Seven Seas Prestige set a new record for the brand, as bookings blew past the existing record set when Seven Seas Splendor opened for sale in 2018. Bookings for Seven Seas Prestige were 26% higher than the previous milestone.

Seven Seas Prestige, at 77,000 gross tons, is substantially larger than the brand’s existing ships, by 40%, yet the ship will have capacity for just 10% more guests, indicating more spacious public areas inside and on deck.

The new-build features all-balcony accommodations in 12 stateroom and suite categories, including four new suites. The Skyview Regent Suite — the $25,000 per night offering, joins Skyview Suites, Grand Loft Suites, and Horizon Penthouse Suites, all new to the line.

Top Suite Features Two Levels Plus Gym and Sauna

The lavish two-level Skyview Regent Suite will feature two bedrooms, a living room, private gym and sauna, elevator, and private access to The Study dining room, which can seat 12 guests. Guests can relax in 9,000 square feet of pure luxury, including the veranda.

Guests booking the new suite will enjoy the services of a private car and driver in every port call.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is an all-inclusive line, with cruise fares covering shore excursions, beverages including wine and liquor, WiFi, and all dining at 11 venues. Butler service is provided when guests book accommodations in Penthouse suites and higher.

The new-build will split her inaugural year into both Caribbean and European voyages. When she debuts in December 2026 the ship will homeport in Miami and offer 10- to 12-night cruises in the Caribbean, including two Panama Canal transits.

In April 2027, the ship will depart Miami for New York, and then operate a transatlantic sailing to Barcelona, where she will homeport for the summer 2027 season.
